TRINITY HALL FARM INDUSTRIAL ESTATE

Trinity Hall Farm Industrial Estate currently accommodates mid-20th Century light industrial warehouse buildings and a gym. The buildings are surrounded by unattractive car parking and hardstanding areas – with green space confined to a few trees and hedgerows along the northern and eastern boundary.

The surrounding context includes the residential neighbourhoods of King’s Hedges and Chesterton to the south, industrial warehouses to the east, car showrooms to the west, and Cambridge Business Park, Cambridge Science Park and St John’s Innovation Park to the north.

The site is identified within the North East Cambridge Area Action Plan, with the potential to deliver a range of jobs and amenities to build on the strengths of the existing neighbourhood and community.

The existing businesses on the site have short leases and our intention is to work with them, where possible, to help them plan for the future.

The views and feedback from the community have been central to how our plans have and will continue to develop, as we prepare to submit a planning application.

In July 2024 we held a further public consultation to show our plans for the site.
